Minneapolis is home to more than just awesome music, sports teams and Ticket King... It's also a city that is rich in the arts, including the infamous Hennepin Theatre district, which consists of the Pantages Theatre, Orpheum Theatre & State Theatre all located on Hennepin Avenue within a couple blocks of each other. It can be difficult to get really good theatre tickets in a market like Minneapolis because so many people are interested in the arts. There are sites out there like our newest Historic State Theatre tickets site that will help you find the tickets you want to the hottest theatre shows in Minneapolis. You can also find all the theatre details like where to park and where to sit. If you need a State Theatre seating chart, this site is for you!

Cheap David Sedaris State Theatre Tickets!

Tonight at the State Theatre, David Sedaris will be performing at 7:30 PM. If you don't really know who he is, he's a Greek-American humorist, writer, comedian, author and radio contributor! This guy is a great example of how important it is to not set boundaries for yourself, especially when it comes to choosing a career for yourself. He has been nominated for a Grammy Award and as of 2008, his books have collectively sold seven million copies. There must be something interesting in there! We've got some great seats left for tonight's show, with David Sedaris tickets starting at only $65 for 10th row on the main floor!! We have even better seats up to row 3 as well, that will not last long. Get them now before they're gone!

Holy Snow..

BLAH. I was just starting to believe that this cold, snowy weather was almost over with... And then today happened. I guess up to 8 inches are possible?! We already have gotten at least 1.5 and it's only been a little over an hour. Oh well.. I'm pretty used to it after 22 years of this. If I didn't have to drive around in it, I would probably like it a lot more. Although I must admit, I do love to go snow-tubing and I WILL learn to snowboard someday.

I wonder if the snow will affect the Joel McHale concert tomorrow night at the State Theatre? Nicole and Mary are both going to throw their undergarments at him so I hope the snow is done falling by then. Cross your fingers... And if you would also like to throw your undergarments at him, you can still get Joel McHale tickets! He's doing two shows; one at 8 and one at 10.
